I was having an obvious problem with my brand new car; the dealer and manufacturer claimed they couldn't find anything wrong so there was nothing to fix. Tim pursued the case and was able to get us a full repurchase on our very difficult situation and without going to trial. The car was eventually, despite much resistance from the manufacturer, confirmed to have a significant safety issue.
Tim was always very prompt, emailing on nights and weekends if needed, and kept me informed at all turns. He took the time to understand our specific case and allowed me to be involved to the extent I wanted. Everyone I spoke with at the firm was very friendly and helpful (if Tim was not available, which was rare).
Tim was very knowledgeable about the laws surrounding Lemon issues and was able to pursue the case in a unique way. Tim was very measured in his approach - not to aggressive and not too passive - which I feel was critical to our situation and which I appreciated greatly. I also felt that he was also very personally vested in his cases - he truly cares about the people he helps.

2013 s u v water leak

I have a 2013 s u v that has a water leak . The Dealer's service department tried fixing it three times but it still leaked. I was fed up! I looked on the Web for a good attorney to help me. I called Mr.Abeel's firm & spoke directly to Tim. He walked me through the whole process,which really made me feel comfortable! Tim took my case & went running! Starting this process I was reluctant to take on Chrysler... Talked with Attorney Abeel directly, not his staff or anyone else, he himself called and talked with me. Discussed the many issues I have having and made me comfortable right out of the gate. We had a long hard rode, many hours of conversations always positive and hanging in there with me. I purchased a 2015 Corvette. Shortly after taking delivery, I had a major electrical issue with the car. This problem occurred after driving the car only a few miles. Took the car back to the dealership and it took the dealership 49 days to fix the car. On the 10th day in the shop, I educated myself on the lemon law and did all the required steps according to the lemon laws such as sending a certified letter to the manufacture etc. I sent the letter and contacted the manufacture via phone and got a VP in the customer claims section. After dealing with the manufacture for the next 20 days, it became clear that this big bureaucratic machine of red tape was in no hurry to get me a refund or a new car even though it clearly spells that out in the lemon law. This is when I contacted the law firm of Timothy Abeel & Associates. After figuring out that the manufacture had to pay the legal fees, I decided to quit wasting my time and let the attorneys who do this work everyday take over. It was becoming an exhausting process. To make a long story longer, Tim’s team successfully got me a complete refund on my purchase! Tim did a great job resolving my lemon law claim on a $100K+ vehicle. Prior to contacting Tim, I attempted (unsuccessfully) to resolve my lemon law claim directly with the manufacturer. Despite my vehicle having been at a dealer on numerous (4+) occasions for the same defect, and out of service for 40+ days, the manufacturer was generally unresponsive, giving me various excuses, requests for additional time to investigate issues with my vehicle, etc. Accordingly, I contacted Tim.
Tim is very responsive to emails/phone calls, and has excellent insight in how best to deal with vehicle manufacturers. He resolved my lemon law claim very quickly. I strongly encourage any consumer having a lemon law issue with their vehicle to contact Tim.

I was so frustrated and didn't know where to turn after my car was back to the garage again for the sixth time. I decided to look up a lemon law layer, and came across Tim. I clicked on the link and to my surprise the phone was ringing it was Tim. We went over a few things about the problems of the car. And he told me i had a case so I went through with it. We had a recent problem with a brand new 2014 SUV that we leased and had in our possession for about 6 months. After several attempted fixes by the company, as well as speaking to the car manufacturer's Corporate department ourselves with no resolution, we retained Timothy Abeel to help us and to pursue a claim under the lemon law. Tim was able to get the car manufacturer to settle very QUICKLY!!
Literally, within days of Tim contacting the car manufacturer, they offered to settle. Days later, we had reached an agreement - we received a full refund for our entire lease, including all fees and lease payments! We were so happy and shocked that it was that easy after all the stress we had for months. Our only wish was that we had contacted Tim sooner!

Two month old car with just 4000 miles in the shop for an entire month straight without even a definite diagnosis. Before calling Timothy Abeel and associates I reached out to 3 other lemon law firms, all of which told me that I did not have a case and that there wasn’t anything that they could do for me. Then I called Timothy Abeel and associates and they were able to find a way to get me a reasonable settlement, in a timely manner. I unsuccessfully tried to resolve a consumer complaint with a car manufacturer for five months. I insisted on a replacement vehicle for my problem vehicle. The manufacturer offered me $1500 towards a replacement vehicle or $400 towards an extended warranty.
Frustrated, I contacted Tim via email on a Friday afternoon, day one. He called me within minutes to discuss my case. On day four, Tuesday, I signed my agreement with Tim to represent me. By day 11, Tim successfully had a resolution to my case! The manufacturer agreed to replace my current vehicle with a brand new vehicle. Exactly what I asked for.

I contacted Tim about three months ago concerning a long-standing steering/NVH issue with new diesel SUV. The steering wheel had a persistent oscillation at 70mph that could not be cured despite countless tire replacements, alignment and balance jobs, and replacement of many suspension components. This was a replacement vehicle provided by the manufacturer after the first also exhibited this problem. I had been told by a representative that the manufacturer would not consider a repurchase or replacement since they had already done so once.
After spending far too much time and worry getting the first vehicle replaced myself, I decided seek representation. I'm so glad I did. Tim was able to negotiate a refund of every penny spent on the vehicle including purchase price, tax and doc fees, and repair expenses. He communicated clearly via email and telephone calls, allowing this to be taken care of very efficiently. All documentation was transmitted electronically, saving a lot of time and annoyance dealing with faxes and mail. At every step, he clearly advised me of strategy and issues allowing me to make informed decisions.
This manufacturer was particularly difficult and only offered an acceptable settlement the day before a scheduled hearing, ending a 16 month saga. I am certain that I only received the desired outcome through retaining Tim.

The brakes would sometimes get stuck on while driving, even after you released your foot off the brake. The car would then not allow you to accelerate . In essence, it was as if an emergency brake was stuck on and there was no way to get it off. This happened many times on our brand new car with under 3,000 miles! After we brought the car in numerous times for service repairs, we were still having these brake and acceleration issues. It was a very dangerous and scary problem, especially since the car was a family car, mainly for my wife and baby.

I leased a brand new $100,000 vehicle from a dealer in NJ for a family member. The family member who drives the vehicle happens to be an attorney and spent countless hours trying to deal with the dealership, regional management of the manufacturer, and the manufacturer directly regarding major repair issues. The manufacturer tried to claim that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle despite it being inoperable and repeatedly in service for repair with the same two persistent problems, or slight variations of the two problems. The manufacturer did not act in good faith. I witnessed the car being inoperable in excess of 30 days in the course of approx. two years. When it became clear that the manufacturer was not going to do the right thing and replace the vehicle or terminate the lease, I contacted Tim based on other very positive reviews. We were in good hands. We will never buy from this manufacturer again, as they have a blatant disregard for safety and could care less about their customers. I am glad that I found Tim, and would recommend him without any reservations. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive to client's needs and communications, patient and genuinely concerned about getting a resolution that will keep your family out of danger. He also is not afraid to be aggressive, if the need arises. He is a creative thinker as well. Even if the outcome had been different, my review of Tim would be the same. He was professional, kept me updated throughout the process and played no games. He ensured I was prepared prior to both the deposition and arbitration. It is obvious that he has a busy schedule, but I never felt neglected and Tim was always responsive. He is easy to talk to and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. I hope never to have to go through a Lemon Law case again, but Tim would be my first call without hesitation. We were up against a stubborn manufacturer and I feared that we would end up at trial. Tim did all he could to avoid that and in the end it was settled at arbitration! The manufacturer’s attorney maintained that there was no issue and further that because I allowed my family in the car that it was not unsafe. Tim derided their assertion and stuck to the facts and the Lemon Law statute. He delivered a summation that brought a smile to my face. I highly recommend this lawyer to anyone seeking counsel in support of a lemon. He diligently worked towards settling my case without having to go to trial but once we did, he continously keeped me informed and sent me all documents for review and advised me to the proceedings and all requirements. I can't say enough good things about him. He was competent, knowledgeable, responsive and held his ground against a very stubborn and unreasonable defendant. There were MANY issues with my car and I had tried to work with the manufacturer to no avail. I contacted Mr. Abeel and made it just in the lemon law time frame. Many lawyers would have tried to get me to settle much earlier in the case, but Tim really listened to what I had to say, agreed with me and was willing to stand his/my ground even if it meant going to trial. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfindet as soon as they were released last November. Started having issues soon after I got it. I have been driving Nissans for the past 12 years so I gave them the benefit of the doubt to fix the issues. As time went on and no resolution I contacted Tim. He handle my case very efficient and fast. 5 weeks from when I contacted Tim, Nissan has agreed to purchase my Pathfinder back under the PA lemon law. The Pennsylvania lemon law covers any consumer who buys, or leases, and registers a new motor vehicle in the state. Under the Pennsylvania Lemon Law your car may be declared a lemon if it meets all of the following conditions: It has a nonconformity (a defect, or condition) the nonconformity is covered by the manufacturer's express warranty The nonconformity SUBSTANTIALLY impairs the use, market value, or safety of the car The nonconformity is not the result of an accident, abuse, neglect, or alteration of the car by persons other than the manufacturer or its authorized dealer You reported the nonconformity at least once to the manufacturer's authorized dealer during the Pennsylvania Lemon Law Rights Period of 1 year or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. You gave the manufacturer or its authorized dealer three opportunities to repair the nonconformity.
